Simple stylish gentoo fbsplash
While I tuned the startup procedure of my notebook, for speed, yesterday, I realized that I was in need of a nice gentoo startup screen. First I searched for a decent one on bootsplash.de and on the gentoo forums. But I wasn't successful in discovering an appropriate one. Because of this I created my own.
It was inspired by Gentool, which you can find on bootsplash.de and by some svgs I found on the gentoo forums.
Because I really like what has evolved from my first ideas, I wanted to share this creation with you.
You can always check out the actual release from this svn repository.
Currently the release only consists of two screenresolutions (1280x1024, 1600x1200). The svgs used to create this splash image can be retrieved from the svn repository as well. Feel free to create other resolutions.
